Bio

Beyond her music ministry, Leah serves as an elementary music educator and remains passionate about investing in the next generation. She believes that every platform—whether a classroom, church sanctuary, convention stage, or social media livestream—is an opportunity to encourage others and share the Gospel.

Today, Leah travels throughout the Southeast and beyond, ministering wherever God opens a door. Through every opportunity, her mission remains unchanged: to glorify Christ, encourage the hurting, strengthen believers, and remind people that God’s grace is always greater than their greatest failure.

With a heart for worship, a passion for people, and a testimony of redemption, Leah Pettis continues to proclaim one simple message:

No matter what you’ve walked through, God’s story for your life isn’t over yet.

Leah Pettis is a Southern Gospel artist, speaker, worship leader, educator, wife, and mother whose ministry has been shaped by a lifetime of faith, music, and God’s unwavering grace.

Raised as the only child of children’s pastors, Leah’s earliest memories are rooted in church ministry. Long before she ever stood on a national stage, she was standing beside some of the most influential women in her life, learning harmonies during altar services, children’s crusades, camp meetings, and church conventions. Music was woven into the fabric of her upbringing. Whether singing in choir, learning parts on convention songs, or ministering alongside her parents, Leah developed a deep love for both music and ministry at a young age.

As a teenager, she became heavily involved in Fine Arts through the Assemblies of God, where she sharpened her vocal abilities and ministry gifts. In 2009, she was honored as the Female Vocal Soloist winner, a milestone that further confirmed God’s calling upon her life.

In 2013, an unexpected door opened when beloved Southern Gospel singer Tracy Stuffle of The Perrys became ill. Leah was asked to fill in for Libbi Perry Stuffle while she remained home caring for her husband. What began as a temporary opportunity became a year-long journey traveling and ministering with one of Southern Gospel music’s most respected groups. The experience provided invaluable ministry training and offered a glimpse into the broader platform God would one day entrust to her.

Following her time with The Perrys, Leah returned home, married her husband Caleb, and embraced her calling as a wife and mother. Together they are raising their daughters, Braelyn Grace and EllieAnn Hazel, who remain among her greatest blessings and most cherished ministry partners. For several years, family life took center stage as Leah poured herself into motherhood and serving those closest to her.

Then in 2022, God began stirring her heart once again. What started as a simple step of obedience soon became a renewed calling to minister through song. Since returning to the road, Leah has witnessed God open doors she could have never opened herself.

Her ministry has quickly gained national attention within Southern Gospel music. She was honored to appear on the Main Stage at the National Quartet Convention in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, in both 2024 and 2025. She was also named the winner of Southern Lights’ Search for a Star competition and earned the distinction of being named Second Place Nationally in the Singing News Talent Search. In 2026, she looks forward to joining Mornings with Michael Booth on the National Quartet Convention Main Stage, continuing a journey that only God could have orchestrated.

Known for her authentic heart and transparent testimony, Leah’s ministry extends beyond music. She openly shares how God’s grace has restored, healed, and redeemed broken places in her life. Her testimony serves as a reminder that no person is beyond the reach of God’s mercy and that He specializes in bringing beauty from ashes. Whether ministering in a church service, concert setting, conference, or community event, Leah’s desire remains the same: to point people toward Jesus.

Leah’s music combines the timeless message of Southern Gospel with a fresh, heartfelt delivery that resonates across generations. Her debut recording project, The Aftermath, reflects themes of hope, healing, endurance, restoration, and God’s faithfulness through life’s greatest storms. Each song tells a story of God’s sustaining grace and invites listeners to trust Him in every season.

One of the verses that has shaped Leah’s life and ministry since childhood is Mark 16:15: “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

Leah first learned this scripture at twelve years old in children’s church with her parents. Even then, she felt God stirring her heart with the desire to reach people for the cause of Christ.

She never imagined that calling would lead to singing on stages across the country and ministering through music, but she is incredibly grateful for every opportunity God has given her. What began as a scripture hidden in the heart of a pastor’s daughter has become the mission that continues to guide her ministry today.
